The art of Lebohang Kganye is fascinating and beautiful.
After seeing way too many photos of people's kids taken from an adult (tall) vantage point, I knew right away to get down on my knees when photographing my young kids.
After shooting film after a long while, and still using a Fuji x100, I think shooting with film is somewhat liberating when it comes to editing - partially because it front loads some of the decisions from editing. Even shooting with my X100, compared to iPhone, does some of that as well - I’m more aware of the pain it will be to go through the photos, adjust levels, and drop them in iCloud, so I’m more conservative and cautious in the photos.
As a fun project during family gathering I try to snap picture of every pair of people. O(n^2) tends to grow quickly so I frequently don't manage, but it's a fun way to get original photos.
