When you think about it - in a Hooked sort of way - it would make sense to pay out on the hour. Imagine getting a ping every time you "clocked" more pay. Even if that wasn't necessarily deposited into your bank / Venmo hourly, it still might make good sense from an employee morale perspective.

Taken a step further, perhaps the payroll system could help the employee save incrementally in a Christmas club sort of way? That is, the employee could designate an amount or percentage to be put "aside" in a different account. Obviously, the employee can do this themselves, but why not make it even easier?

These things nudges would certainly be an incentive to show up to work and put in the time.

Sounds like a great idea from a worker's perspective.
