I am sure this is a deeply personal question.

Speaking only for myself, and after long and thoughtful deliberation, the answer is 'No.'

There are some things I just think are wrong and spending 100x the cost of an average dinner on a single meal just seems extravagant and wrong. I guess if you make a ton of money, go for it though. Maybe you're paying for an experience and bragging rights.
You can spend $800 on a meal, or you can spend $1,000+ on a graphics card, or $1,600 for a good seat at the World Cup. Either way it's entertainment.

A meal like this isn't nutrition. It's a show about food that you get to taste.

Most of those foods do not sound attractive to me (except for the pistachio milkshake). But it was enjoyable reading about the menu.
And then one day, for no reason at all...
