There isn't a good explanation of why people might want to use it, even on the FAQ pages. It's open source (good), but there are many other open source offerings available for all these different tasks. What benefit does the user receive from a single environment with plugins? This is never articulated.
The closest is this: we believe tight integration between different (and, perhaps, unrelated at first glance) applications may yield synergetic effect and improve the quality and usability of every single application. This project is largely an experiment at what could be the outcome of this vision.
...followed by a suggestion that they'd like to develop a whole desktop environment? It seems good but also like reinventing the wheel. Some clarity about what problems you're trying to solve and why I should prefer it over browser X would go a long way.
