He is commoditizing soil and has found a new way to make money.
For those who really worry about soil and the facts spoken or presented by him, it is a total garbage and it done purely as a publicity stunt so that people will start buying the so called blessed soil from him (??).
Buying the blessed soil (whose soil is it anyway?) will save the soil from degrading? Poeple get to buy some soil samples blessed (!!??) by this conman and keep it in their homes and expect the soil is saved while he happily walks towards the bank laughing about people's stupidity!!!

One has to blame everyone in the entire process. Not just the use of chemical fertilizers. Greed driven by demand, corporatization of essential commodities, globalization of govts and pure profit based approach is making the life on this beautiful planet a deteriorating hell! Sooner or later, it will become like the scenes of Wall-E movie where people abandon the planet and start to wander around for a better quality of life albeit with some differences.
The propaganda should have been to stop using chemicals and pesticides, move towards organic method of farming and educating people about sustainable living and introducing technology guidance, reducing dependencies and a changed economic models... But it all sounds like Utopian wishes and might never come true on this godforsaken planet with the current set of population and people's mindset...

Because of various reasons that requires privacy and security. You never know how these goons operate. They will hunt and haunt you. There is no freedom of speech in this country. They'll simply kill you. Period.

This is a bizzare assertion that's trivially disproved. Just searching for 'environment' on Newslaundry brings up articles hilighting environmental destruction and advocating conservation:
Maybe massive move to hydroponic farming done on sea rafts or something. Or on those whirling space stations with artificial gravity . 3d - printing food (if you believe in bioenergies first print some living tissue then kill it u done) is an option. Harvesting plankton is an option. Cultivating airborne plankton and such for protein is an option.
The guy is right (I know nothing about the guy himself): if the current trend continues we're left with desertation. We need soil - producing agriculture and
the current one is soil - destroying. It doesn't need to be economically viable in itself. It could be subsidized for common interest by the public sector.
