Basically, most of these small electric car companies will fail. They generate cash through pre-orders and hype. Then they burn through the cash trying to manufacture the car at scale without the discipline and drive of Elon Musk.
So in the end, perhaps the only electric car companies that exist will be Tesla, old car companies that converted to electric, and tech giants.
