I think it is although the status page isn't saying. Twitter is saying it is: Sending a request - url: https://www.slack.com/api/apps.connections.open, error: The read operation timed out)

Came to HN to get a confirmation that it wasn’t just me. Lying status pages are bloody annoying.

I just set-up an automatic status page tracking Slack, in case you're looking for confirmation in the future: https://slack.onlineornot.com/

(no incidents listed atm because I set it up after they came back online)

Uses an uptime check against their API and website to independently check that they're still up.

Because someone’s OKR or some other metric depends on it and they will keep it from being on the status page as long as possible until there’s no denying.

It's been down for a couple of hours, I managed to send some messages just before 1200 UTC but nothing since.

Whatsapp picking up the slack for us, and of course a trusty phone.
