Ask HN: Is the iPhone voicemail horribly broken for anyone else?

I have Verizon and the "Visual Voicemail" has many bugs making it difficult to use. Clicking on one message opens another, the playback starts and stops randomly when I have the phone up to my ear etc. etc. Any one else seeing these weird issues?

What phone / iOS version? In general, this has worked well for some time.

iPhone 11, iOS 15.5 but have noticed for quite a while on older iOS's as well.

Visual voicemail should be a thing of the past now, my carrier just sends the audio as a standard rcs message, no need for special apps.
