I can't wait to see how the space "industry" changes course now that China and Russia are firmly against doing anything with the rest of the developed world in space. The U.S. undeniably has an edge when it comes to deploying satellites and "heavy lift" capability. I'm unsure how the largest portions of the ISS were put into orbit, I assume the shuttle was pivotal here? Nonetheless, it'll be interesting to see how Russia adapts. Hopefully we don't end up with more military capability in space than we already have.
