I used to work for a stealth agriculture robotics startup.
I feel that it's difficult to argue that our robotic solution (unmanned) is really more effective than the current agriculture automation technologies (human + specialized machines) unless we are at the human level of precision .
The profit margin of the farming business is also very very thin, there is little room for making mistakes. Hence, unless our solution can boost efficiency by a lot, it will be a hard sell.
