Maybe dang or some other admin should create a list of posts where votes are normalized against number of unique account views. That will be pretty interesting.

It would be great to also count the access to comments - I usually start with the comments and then maybe read the actual post.

Comments for less political things are usually really deep and contentful.

This is how I've used HN for years. It wasn't until recently I actually registered an account to take part of some discussions my self

It should have the option to be seen as a snapshot at the time of to avoid skewing numbers with new views.
