Tips for having a high productivity remote company?
We're building a product that from a technical perspective, is extremely "nitty-gritty". It is complex, feature-rich, and has a non-negligible degree of technical risk.

[ 1.7 ms ] story [ 13.2 ms ] threadFor smaller teams (sub 10 people), I find that having 1 daily informal standup and having the leaders make themselves readily available for answering questions is often sufficient. The key is often for leadership not to block development (so no long review cycles for PRs or long time deciding on details that subordinates need to accomplish their work).
Doing this also keeps people focused on the task with less procrastination. No commits in 3 days... why? In my experience this is the best way to keep people moving while also increasing visibility into technical code at all stages of the process.
