Why is the USS Iowa removed from the Google Earth satellite photos? (quora.com)

I confirmed this myself. Wonder if it is a mistake or it is intentional.

It looks like someone didn't program the algorithm to differentiate between museum ships and non-museum ships.

This Iowa class is perfectly visible

A few miles over at the Philadelphia Navy Yard you can see the John F. Kennedy and also a bunch of retired missile ships including the USS Stark.
