Ask HN: Managing identity across Social Media platform?

I am having difficulty managing my identity across online platforms. I feel like I am more honest on some platforms and not so much on others. The more anonymous I am the more secure (free) I feel online.

Is there a way to mitigate this problem or somehow manage it?
