With the renewed momentum for a return to US manufacturing of semiconductors, I'm looking to hear from people in the industry about what opportunities they see. Aside from working for a behemoth as an engineer, what are some other parts of the industry that have opportunities for small companies?

Where are they sourcing raw materials? How are they processed? What contractors or consultants are used in the manufacturing lifecycle? What third party software is used? Basically, how can entrepreneurs get in on the action?
