Not the author but I’ve noticed that when it come to Tk, by modern they usually refer to the new widgets released in version 8.5.
Tk used to have a very distinctive look and not-native. With the new widgets it is a look closer to native look
That was my first reaction. I tried clicking the wiki link, though, at the top of the github page, and from there to "Bird's Eye View". Pleasantly surprised.
I am not sure why, but random _'s keep appearing wherever I click. I like the effort, and that it might be the most feature-rich code editor written in Tcl/Tk. I probably will not be using it just yet though, but we will see.
It seems that it neither has any advantages over VSCode, nor brings the ergonomics and flexibility of vi/emacs to the table. I honestly cannot understand why it exists beyond "let's make a project using Tcl/Tk".

[ 3.0 ms ] story [ 28.5 ms ] threadWhich let's you know what you can expect. Also the wiki seems rather good.
And Tk, I can’t even… I’m planning to make a generated gui for php artisan (Laravel) by parsing the --help. We’ll see how it goes :)
