The story seems unsure about whether this happened, and whether the policy that he hypothetically have resigned over even exists.
Yep, welcome to Fox "News": "We don't know if this is true, we don't even know if it exists, but it would further our political narrative, so we're going to report it anyway." That journalistic integrity we all associate with Fox, of course.

But if you expected the RAF to say "Yes, we indeed banned white men from recruitments", indeed, you are correct: they have not confirmed this :)

Who are they quoting in that headline? Their own source calls it an "effective pause" which is a weird phrase to use for an actual policy to not do something.
