Looks to me like it’s ripping Wikipedia without attribution:

Wikipedia, yes. Without attribution no. It says they use Wikipedia on the ‘about’ page, where they also say they donate half their profits to the Wikipedia Foundation.

I’m not associated with factsasnews at all; I just took a minute and clicked on the ‘about’ page.

To be honest, my friends share news stories with me when there is something big.

I tend to prefer to hear about the stories later on when there are more details and all the retractions have come out.

Memes

I care about only the biggest most influential events and try to filter as much noise as possible. Just think about what news you can remember and if they had effect on you from 4-5 months ago. My guess is about zero.

Stories about volcano eruptions, wars, record-high inflation, and presidential elections outcomes make it into memes.

Reddit and friends. It's pretty sad, but it's the truth.

If there is breaking news I'm aware of, I might check a news site.
