Well, ok, I'm unsure about the science, but it looks neat. Hey, why not take a picture of Earth? /sarcasm.

The deep field was amazing. Am I the only one that wants more deep field images? They should image the entire celestial sphere like that, then virtualize it. Why are they wasting so much time on close ups?

Why the sarcasm? If possible, that would be amazing.

Webb is at the L2 Lagrange point, facing away from the Earth and the Sun, with a heat shield in between.

So the Earth is one of the very few things it can not take a picture of.

That seems fine to me, since we have real great photos of this planet already :)
