First, if this is who I think it might be, sorry to hear about your recent family tragedy. Certainly it makes sense to shop around for a quality car if the disease may be catching!
Getting back to topic, it might be easier to find aftermarket sensors than it is to find cars that come thus equipped.
No connection to the car's systems is needed; so nothing in the car is likely to help. Not in the sense of a "check engine" idjit light, anyhow. "sniffer" sensors for explosives exist, but they don't cover all the possible chemicals and your car carries a good amount of potentially explosive fuel with it anyway.
