It's the year of global warming beacause of very rich bullies polluting Earth's environment with profitable businesses while bullying other people to prevent them from stopping global warming. It's just business as usual because of conmen controlling mainstream media and international governments. Until many people have political power to fight against these very rich tyrants, Europe's drought will continuously get worse.

Its bad, yes, but do they even have data for the last 500 years? Most of the detailed weather data is at maximum 100 years old.

Droughts and floods and so on can be kept track of using primitive methods e.g. put a stick up to where the water went to and write a year on it.

Usable historical temperature records go back to the 1700s or so IIRC - it's not very precise but you can still use the data.
