I can totally see Amazon using the acquisition for uses similar to IBM's Watson's original purpose. I can also see where any (and all) tech giants would love to break into medimoney, it's just another realm to silo people. Whatever thwarts those ambitions is net good imo.
/s aside, antibiotic resistant bacteria and the inherent limitations of phage therapy, residual supply chain problems inflating costs, strained healthcare staff burning out and stretching the remaining healthcare professionals even more.
A couple weeks ago I had a 15min telehealth visit and even after insurance I still owe $200. I can cover that, but for an increasing number of Americans that's emergency fund kind of money.
