I'm a little suspicious about how this not-at-all-new concept has suddenly had so much attention these last couple weeks. It's almost as if someone out there is trying to suggest that our populace give it a try.

I think the media is definitely trying to craft an overarching narrative of people quitting work, etc. I don't think there really is as great an exodus as they've tried to suggest.
