Interested me how strongly this influences northern hemispheric weather. I assumed the tropics acted to suppress this kind of hemisphere interaction but maybe that's the jetstreams for you.
Also found it interesting how it's net cooling but does also carry warming qualities: it's a reflective blanket. Net insulation drops, but heat we have is now partially trapped. Presumably that too plays out over time.
AGW theory opponents will be making much of this, I am sure.
