This is an idea I've been thinking about for some time, in the end I've decided to not to pursue it.

However I think it highlights some of the flaws of current hardware wallets and so might be a interesting food for thought in that sense.

Clearly this device is trying to reach a certain price point. There is zero chance it can be secure at that price point.

Since a phone is required anyway, just use the SMS network and so-called confidential computing in the cloud.
