I’m a software engineer with experience developing serverless, resilient, and efficient cloud applications. I recently built Seymour (https://seymour-active-monitoring.github.io/), an open-source active monitoring solution for testing API endpoints that is deployed to AWS. Prior to this I founded and grew businesses in the foodservice space, one of which was a franchise across 14 states.

I love learning and have a diverse background in a lot of other little things as well so let me know what you want to do and I would be happy to jump in!

Hi, I'm Missy! Most recently I built Bubble, a preview app solution for frontend applications using any combo of static-site-generation and server-side rendering (think Next.js). See our in-depth case study here: https://bubble-framework.github.io/case-study

I worked on a remote team of four, across US/UK timezones. They're all brilliant folks who were fantastic on a team: https://bubble-framework.github.io/team

I'm friendly, communicative, and good at managing myself and others (was a PM for a couple different projects in my past life). Cheers!

Need help with migrating to next.js?

Looking for a React developer who would be productive from day 1?

Hi. I'm looking for full-time remote roles in a well-funded stable company (I will work in the company's core office hours. 0 issues with timezones. Been working remotely before covid)

Building websites since 2016, working with React since 2018 and have 2 years of production next.js experience

Super comfortable with Next.js, React, Redux (with sagas), tailwind, material ui, styled-components, SEO schemas, AMP, MERN, scalable deployment on GCP/AWS/Vercel, incremental migration and parallel deployment (WordPress blogs, new next.js code and old code working on the same domain)

I value web performance (web vitals) and accessibility and could create high conversion dynamic pages

Most of my professional code has been in C# and JavaScript. The bulk of my experience was at a business process outsourcer (10 years), where I wrote approx. 400k new lines of code over ~15 projects, almost all internal tools for the business. Most of my work was frantic one-man-army style: large amounts of code that isn't too deep or clever, but is test-harnessed and works very reliably when deployed. I consider myself a solid intermediate developer--not quite senior, since I lack deeper integration on a many-developer team, though I'm excited to change that!

I recently took a long sabbatical which became a detour through functional programming (Haskell) and some theory, and earlier this year I started digging into Rust. I'm quickly seeing the power in the single-owner memory model with functional influences, and would jump at any opportunity to write some Rust or Haskell for real things, though my professional experience is all in imperative languages and I'm mainly in the running for those jobs.

My GitHub is here: https://github.com/jasonincanada. I've set up the pinned repositories so that it conveys a mixture of practical and theoretical efforts. The kattis repo in particular has some of my more advanced code, and there's some C#/LINQ and Python/React code as well to demo my use of more common/practical languages.

My LinkedIn is here and goes into detail about my professional projects: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jason-hooper-950660b9/

I do have a resume in the traditional format; please feel free to contact me if you'd like a copy. Email: nirgle@gmail.com

Thanks for your consideration!

I've worked on 100s of successful projects for Rockwell, Northrop Grumman, Adobe, Motorola, the DTIC, UK-NCIS, and many others. I was the sole software developer one year for 50% of the U.S. Vote and did the initial draft of one of Adobe's printer protocols. I've worked on my own Linux distro for 25 years and have patched and built 1,000s of FOSS packages in the process.

In my most recent role, discussed in the PDF, I had a patch to Linux kernel 5.17 accepted. It was a minor patch but made it possible for the project to support vanilla kernels.

I'm looking for 1099 work. At the moment I have a preference towards junior roles and/or "fill in the gaps" tasks.

Hey, I'm Arjun, a software engineer from Toronto, ON, Canada. I am proficient in Node.js, Express.js, Go, AWS, Docker, React and much more. I have full-stack experience in building cloud applications. Most recently, I co-created Kuri (http://kuri-dlq.github.io/), an open-source Dead-Letter Queue-as-a-Service for distributed applications deployed on an AWS infrastructure. I love working in a team environment and have a passion for learning new technologies. My objective is to join a company where I am able to learn from experienced engineers and continue to grow as an increasingly valuable asset for the company.

A full-stack software engineer that overflows with curiosity. I am seeking a remote full-stack or backend role. I recently created Hypha, an open-source observability framework that makes debugging distributed systems easier by correlating logs and traces in a single tool. I have recently completed my PhD in mathematics at Georgia Institute of Technology. My mathematical experience revolves around mathematical modeling. I've done novel work in mathematical immunology where I needed to quickly go from novice to expert on the topic of the germinal center reaction and B-cell affinity maturation. I frequently use differential equations as necessary for the problem at hand. I've used linear programming, PDE accelerated gradient descent, and global optimization by intermittent diffusion (an SDE technique related to, but applied in different scenarios than, simulated annealing).

I am comfortable using differential equations in all forms (ODE, PDE, SDE, DDE, etc.) and multiple kinds of optimization to numerically study your problem domain.

Beyond what I've specifically worked on, I'm less experienced in but have interest in applied category theory, ML/AI, and quantum error correcting codes (Julia package in progress at https://www.github.com/esabo/CodingTheory ). I use the Julia language regularly, but am happy to learn any other language (I also have passing experience in C and lisp). I'm more interested in transitioning to industry for the broad range of immediately useful things I could do, so please don't think that I'm limited to a particular problem domain! I'd love to hear from you in any problem domain where my skills could be useful!

Hey everyone. I want to say upfront that I'm looking for a place that would be open to a 3 days/week schedule.

I'm a software engineer based in Santa Rosa, CA. I have 10 years of experience using a variety of technologies across the development stack. I love learning new things so if you have something in mind that doesn't exactly fit my experience and there is a little room for some ramp-up time I would especially be interested (would love to work with Rust or Go). The most interesting thing I've worked on lately is I developed from the ground up a UI system for an electric car using OpenGL with bindings to Swift which runs on an embedded Linux device.

I'm looking to bring my experience and skills to a new project. Please reach out if you would like to chat.

Thanks for reading!
