I don't want to say specific location data for privacy reasons (not very helpful for this discussion, I know, and my apologies), but you can say I spent there for a time recently. It's not New York but there's an exodus of a group of upper-middle class folks who will absolutely cite crime as their #1 issue getting out, in the last 5 years.
