Given that it's YC's demo day[0], I wanted to ask:

HN, what are you working on?

Personally I'm building an automatically updating status page service with built-in uptime monitoring.

Starting with built-in monitoring, and integrating Uptime Robot, I'm making it possible to make a pretty, accurate status page running on your own subdomain.

Many people add "Reddit" to their search queries to find authentic product reviews. I fine-tuned a BERT model to extract product mentions from over 4 million Reddit comments and posts with Named Entity Recognition (NER). The result is a list of the most popular products across many subreddits: https://looria.com/reddit/overview
You should do this for HN book recommendations

Very slick! I'm definitely your target audience. Interested to see how this develops. :)
This is awesome! One minor issue is that on mobile when I open the left drawer, the content runs off the bottom of the screen and there’s no scroll, so I can never click the last items
Toy project: I’m learning a bit of Rust. I’m making a text compression and printing algorithm to encode as much data as possible on a single A4 page.

It’s basically Hoffman coding + optimising transformations + encoding to a subset of Unicode.

It’s Mickey Mouse but should be enough to get a handle on Rust.

I'm making a game called Fall of an Empire. It's like the inverse of a 4X game - than expanding you start off overextended and try and lose as slowly as possible.

I'm leading a team of doctors and ambitious medical students to change the way we approach medical and dental school education. Over 50,000 users and going! Bootstrapped.
I am working on a WordPress type Blog shankhs.com to accumulate my ideas in one place.
First time posting my own project anywhere.

D20Kit (previously Synk) has been my long time side project that tries to allow online tabletop players to experience the audio ambiance of a setting in sync with each other (within a 5 sec buffer).

It does this without a live audio stream and allows you to play/pause/loop/shuffle single track audio or playlists and maintains all participants hearing the same thing at the same time.

I still have a lot of work on mobile parity, but I think most of the features can be accessed from mobile. It's very niche and it's got some usability issues I need to iron out. If anyone does try it out I'd love to hear the thoughts/hate mail about it.

Apologies if you don't like having Google auth be the only option.

Did u change your name because of the startup having a similar name?
No, while Snyk did make it hard for SEO, I changed it from Synk so that I could do more than that idea in the long run.

My goal is to create a platform for tabletop games, not just synchronize audio.

I'm working on an iPad web IDE, it already runs nodejs and express, I'm figuring out bundling and transpilation, UI is coming together nicely but still a long way from release
I just put up the first simplest MVP version of crop.express. I have clients who need to crop images but are not technical.
I'm working on Typing AI Biometrics, a secure keystroke dynamics authentication & authorization API that identifies users by the way they type. https://typing.ai
