Try it out. Create a new document. Start a sentence with some spelling errors. Notice the red underlines. Add the word anal. Notice they disappear. The word anus however is fine.

So far 'anal' and the F-word are the only two words I can find that do this. Even the C-word is fine.

That was a fun hour of my life figuring out why my spellcheck was failing.

Edit: Upon further inspection it gets even crazier. When google docs sees the word that looks like it could be 'anal', followed by the word 'gland', it assumes 'anal' and still kills all spellcheck in the sentence, even if 'anal' is not spelled out.

Be happy that it didn't call the police. Wait. This feature will be implemented in the next release /s

What about racist colour names like black, white, red, yellow ? Are they ok ?

I'm honestly tired of the performative puritanism of (particularly american) corporations.
The funny part is that anal gland, which Docs is aggressively seeking out, is a perfectly G-rated use of the word 'anal'.
This is just the begining. Remember the CSAM Apple story ? Or more recent when Google found (child) images (intended for a doctor) on a phone and called the police.
