Show HN: Invest in Airbnbs Like Stocks (arrivedhomes.com)
We made it possible to buy shares of vacation rentals, starting from $100. Investors earn the booking income & property appreciation from being an owner, without all of the work typically involved.
Airbnb’s can be a killer business. They have helped vacation rental owners generate over $150 Billion in rental income from serving a billion guest arrivals, but less than 0.5% of these guests have been able to participate in the owner side of the Airbnb economy.
Arrived is the first company with SEC Qualified offerings to buy shares in individual properties like this. We launched rental home investing last year and have funded $55m in rental homes across the country so far. And we are excited to launch vacation rental investing on our platform this week. Would love any feedback on our vacation rental launch.

[ 5.6 ms ] story [ 61.3 ms ] threadEdit: There seems to be a gift code when you try to invest in a property but the code hackernews is not a valid promotional code.
So it would be nice to get clarification on where this code would be put in.
Aside this seems like a cool platform. I know some people will be cynical and call out the housing crisis as a issue.
In some cases it's justified. But if I just want to invest in a rural house in Arizona that is used as a vacation spot, what's the issue with that?
I think it's because that house is in a community that people need to live in. There are too many instance to count where vacation rentals have priced residents out of their own communities. And when the people can't live there, how are they going to work there?
Airbnb's biggest personal impact for myself and them has not been as a vacation vendor, but as an entity radically transforming our neighborhoods and access to housing. Does Arrived have any standard in terms of community impact?
