As the byline says, ''Don’t get caught up in sentimentality over Elizabeth’s death. This ridiculous institution needs to go.'' The amount of anglophilia being displayed by the U.S. media seems to surpass by quite a bit the understandably deep and full coverage of the Queen's death by Commonwealth countries' press organizations, ironically. On a personal note, I enjoy articles in which a dictionary must be consulted. This one had me looking a couple of times.

I don't understand why the USA, a country that fought a war to disconnect themselves from the crown, would fly flags at half-mast.
