Ask HN: How to do LinkedIn carousels work?

I came across LinkedIn Carousels where users upload a PDF and then LI converts them into easy to scroll UI Elements and thought they work so well that I'd like to have the same on finclout.

Would someone know how this is done? I found a PDF.js library that could do something similar, but procedural, how is this done?
