Actually the history on your web browser is highly effective at bringing back any tab you might close so I feel free to close most tabs.
I just discovered quick tab and now I can search open tabs easily but also history and bookmarks.

I wish some tabs could be opened in self destruct mode, like they close automatically after 15 minutes.

This doesn’t work if you don’t have a reliable way to differentiate visited pages by their page titles. I find pages where content and page title are often wildly different after a while performing deeper research using some online tools. You end up on sites with ephemeral information but the entire site may only use a generic site wide title and while it’s east enough to differentiate them from the tab preview when hovering/switching tabs, your just at a loss with the title sometimes.
