In the U.S., poor people prey on each other in their neighborhoods more than rich people do in theirs, and theft causes stores to close. Less law enforcement after the death of George Floyd has accentuated these disparities.
truth: essential budget (food/rent/etc) proportionally costs more to "poor" ppl than middle class ppl. Then, inflation on such goods has much, MUCH, more impact on "poor" ppl.
