Pretty sure I've seen some variant of this article every day since the invasion began. At some point you have to simply accept that you're not truly going to know the outcome of the war until it is actually over. Until then, everything else is someone's propaganda but at some point, eventually someone's propaganda will end up being accidentally correct. Is that the case today? About as probable as it was for the same type of article written last week or a month ago. These events simply have to play out and no amount of propaganda is going to change the physical reality of existence, no matter how hard one wishes one group's propaganda to be true or the other's.
It's much easier to be a dictator when you're young and strong, even if you make missteps. Making the military blunder of a generation when you're old, that gets a lot riskier. Everyone in the command structure below you realizes there will be a day without you very soon (from old age if nothing else) and will start aligning their future plans to new interests. If that alignment becomes firm enough before the dictators death, then it may hasten it. You can see this in the war hawks that are calling for his removal.
Not only has Putin lost Ukraine, he's severely damaged their ability to do business with the rest of the world, something that is costing a lot of people a lot of money long after he's gone.
I know of just one guy who is both very well informed and goes out of his way to not be influenced by anyone's narrative. He is a former NATO commander and now teaches at the Austrian military academy. Unfortunately, his video releases are not very frequent.
