There is definitely more than just that in the author's reasoning. Just in case anyone is reading the above and thinking it is the proof. There's a lot more like asking questions on the age old creation ex nihlo vs always was.
Most interestingly to me is the suggestion at 'discovering cellular automata out of entropy' that consistently shows itself as patterns within consistent frequency bands and harmonics.
That could suggest a "fundamental note" in the universe (bflat like the NASA blackhole findings) or that all computers have a back-door in it :P.
