Character.ai launches next-generation conversational AI in beta (beta.character.ai)

This will inevitably be used as a guessing game interface to a menu system. Chatbots are the worst possible application of ML and language models, they play to none of the strengths of the tech - chat helps because people have a mind and it helps us clarify our ideas and have a meeting of the mind. With a computer, it's just condescending

I am astounded as to how good this is!
