As terrible as this crisis is perhaps this crisis is what will really kickstart the green transformation of our economies. Fossil fuels has exposed itself as an economic liability.
the judge is still out in that one. (saying this as a German)
btw. we are concurrently using 20% less gas than last year and also have our gas storages filled to 90%, so at least those are good numbers (see Spiegel.de). Inflation and financial health of companies is another matter, we will see how that goes.
