It can’t connect to a TV, only streams if you’re on WiFi (is too weak to do much locally), and costs $50 more than a brand new Switch+Dock/costs just $50 less than a Steam Deck?

Who is going to buy this? What makes Logitech think this will sell?

Nobody. The price is insane for what it is and the only thing it might have going for it is that it might be carried in retail shops and hopefully Logitech will support it.

It's within spitting distance of the Switch and Steam Deck while being considerably more expensive than Chinese competitors like the Retroid Pocket 3 and Ayn Odin Lite while not offering a whole lot of value.

For streaming a Retroid Pocket 3 is fine since it has 5Ghz WiFi and it only costs $120. The Odin Lite should be faster than the Logitech yet cheaper still at $230ish.

Part of me wants to say Logitech could’ve done this better. But given they have no games of their own and this thing runs Android, 300 other Chinese game tablets are gonna leave this one in the dust in 2 years tops.
Ton of popular with kids twitch streamers got paid yesterday to overhype this.
Not sure why a cloud dependent device goes for $350, it does look nice though. But if you’re gonna cheap out on the d-pad, just go with buttons. It’s not a good look in terms of build quality for something this expensive. All these problems are so obvious that it’s clear some heads at Logitech couldn’t get a word in.

The future of gaming looks like Microsoft and Sony rebranding themselves as cloud platforms. All these no name Switch-like tablet things are gonna run them just like we do with Netflix and Hulu today. Nintendo, given their conservative ways will keep making hardware until its antiquity outweighs their Disney level royalty.
