Sorry, I, like everyone else, will continue to use my computer during thunderstorms. I would bet that if I sat at my computer 16 hours a day for the next 5 years in a round the clock thunderstorm, I would still be more likely to die of heart disease from my sedentary lifestyle than die from a lightning strike.
So... how many people were killed by lightning while taking a shower in the last year? Last decade?
"The risk of lightning traveling through plumbing might be less with plastic pipes than with metal pipes," the CDC added.
Out of all the graphs where shower or bathing could have come up(daily activities and water activities), neither is significant enough to even register (maybe examples are no where to be found).

It’s an authoritative source too. Thank you, I actually had a fear of showering - not sure where it came from.
