I knew this was Alex Tabarok even before clicking!

I am always intrigued that economists lose all concepts of statistics when talking about social issues.

Then again, economists are surprisingly bad at statistics.

Does this mean that, statistically speaking, there really is a good chance of a White supremacist being under my bed?
No, it just means you should heavily discount what this Tabarok guy has to say about it.
A obsession of chasing imaginary white supremacists and seeing illusions of them in objects, trees, walls, or anything that looks, or sounds like something they don't like can only be described as a delusional paranoia, haunting in their heads rent-free.
