Moonshot type of projects are risky so most of them will fail. That's ok. But to maximize their utility to everyone they need to publish details on what went right and what went wrong. Google needs to collect all the project's details and place them in a public accessible website.
If they don't then they have failed a second time. Once for the company and a second time for the general public good.
There is nothing to collect. It's a bad idea period. 75% of people live in cities. If one wants to go the way of personal flight transportation for the masses then helicopters and VTOL are the way because of lack of space. Of course everybody would have to wear ear protection 24/7/365.
One should just be grateful that Larry Page is not a scammer, he could have built a POC, use the immense power of his wealth and the immense power of Google to hype it up , then IPO and make billions by selling into greater fools , the same who blindly buy Gamestop, AMC and whatever Musk shoves down their throats.
