Thread: Copper, Fossil Fuels and Turbines (twitter.com)

This a long thread, the most useful parts of which are about copper mining and refinement. It would seem difficult to shed the dependency on fossil fuels for this process. Presumably carbon neutral synthetic fuels could find some purchase here, if they succeed in getting to market.

Otherwise the author is quite biased against renewables…
