In this article, “some” is clarified as 6 drivers across two countries.
I usually ignore most articles that fall in this category. "Some X", "X suggests", "Study Shows", "These X say Y", etc. It's all thinly veiled opinion articles. I wish there was a plugin to just hide stuff in this format.
Not aware of any Uber drivers told swallow these bags no questions just swallow, drive, and shit on floor at the destination.
It's right there in their marketing, what's the issue?

> "Uber for Business: Same Day Local Package Delivery Service Enable same-day deliveries to customers or between stores. Keep repairs moving Quickly arrange express local delivery of components between your parts suppliers, wholesale accounts, and retail customers. Easily send and receive important documents and contracts through our dashboard. Deliver pharmaceuticals."

How is this different than traditional courier services or even just plain Uber? If you’re in the delivery business that’s kind of an implied risk.
Probably there are some safeguards provided by being a legal registered taxi. The thing Uber and its fans think is overreaching government...
Understandable. If I were delivering drugs I'd be asking for a cut of the proceeds.
