AirPods Pro (2nd Gen) teardown: the lanyard eyelet is more than it appears (lumafield.com)

I have 1st gen Airpods Pro and after almost three years of continuous use they are still working great. The volume control ability in 2nd gen tempted me to consider buying them but I don't think I am ready to ditch mine yet.
