Ask HN: Thoughts on ThoughtSpot?

My workplace is looking at them. Not much chatter here on HN about them considering they're, i guess, a unicorn, and one comment I came across indicated that scaling down to data sets that are not (B)ig data was maybe outside the intended use case (which would be the case where I work as well)

Have they pivoted to a product/market-fit for not-big data? Anyone have experience deploying them?
