What do you think? Is it snake oil? Is it real? How much is going to be delivered tomorrow (Tesla AI Day)?

Musk is full of shit, so no it's not real.
So are you ready to admit you were wrong now?
The demo is impressive without looking too hard at what was promised by musk

But throughout the whole demo i had a feeling that there were a lot off mirrors and smoke used.

Like starting statement that its first time ever of the rig? Yeah sure, they just took a chance it will not immediately trip, fall and break.

its hard to judge if bot is preprogrammed like those old school japanese robots, or what they claim in the software part of the talk, or what they claim in the software part of following up the demo. All of the footage shown are sterile test. In comparison to boston dynamics where you have rugged terrain, or aggressive hockey-stick people :)

Other possibility to consider is that maybe this is a startup operating for years. Musk saw it, bought it, and now he is marketing as his 8 month project. Just like he pretends tesla was his making.

I am skeptical but hoping the team will deliver in the future.

Tesla hasn't yet delivered two separate car models that were presented 3 and 5 years ago and took countless preorders.

At this point I wouldn't believe Musk anything until I see it in person.

Very much doubt it's real. Maybe the robot is under development, but delivered on Tesla AI Day? Maybe the exterior is ready, and that's what Musk will show. Or maybe he'll walk on stage dressed as Optimus ...
It’s just Kimbal dancing in a spandex suit.
Tesla will deliver enough to help recruitment (likely more aspirational than functional), which was the point of AI day iirc.
Is the cyber truck real?
