I made a collection of places where a person with no prior skillset can contribute their time and energy to make the world a better place, often without needing to leave home.

I'm looking for feedback- suggestions to make it better. I already think it should go from being a Markdown to a structured database and generated site sorted by category.

What other ways can I make this better and more useful for people?

You can create an entry for each project in Rovas[1]. There is one for OpenStreetMap[2] already. If a project depends on another, you can define the dependencies in the app. There are several benefits to do it this way, one of them being that anybody can reward a Rovas projects with own work, or normal money. The income benefits anybody who reports work in the app. Workers receive also a reputation-like reward, if somebody rewards the project they work on.
