If your grandkids asked you: Grandpa, what was your best decision on the professional field? - what would you say?

For me it was switching to front-end early, I had been doing back-end but I didn't enjoy and was thinking if programming is for me but going into React I started enjoying coding so much and got better opportunities.

That's an easy question. After 7 weeks of training, I quit the Army and moved to London.

Scout for positions which will excite you, and scour job boards for positions relative to your expertise. So many people in mismatched jobs because 'it's all that was available' but it may be the case they didn't look hard enough. We are spoiled for choice these days with positions, and some are even fully remote so you don't have to relocate.
