I have mixed feelings around this trend of making “smart cars”.
Will I, in the near future, have to worry even about my car sending a videos of my face while driving to some remote DC for processing and training?
I get the point of safety, but I feel people tend to just focus on whether they can do things instead of thinking whether they should.
In a country like Germany, I’d rather see focus on making better and cheaper mass transportation systems instead of spending billions to make cara smarter (despite the benefits that r&d might bring)
In the future if you get the Google Auto OS version of your car, yes that’s what you can expect. If you get the Apple CarOS version no, but it’ll sit in your garage at night burning a kWh every night thinking about your face on-device. Pick your poison?
